David Marquard was a founding partner in the Duluth office of Hutchinson & Marquard, established in 1984 as a law firm devoted exclusively to helping accident injury victims and their families. Attorney Jonathan Ruth joined the firm in 1992. In 1993 the firm opened an office in Fargo, North Dakota. Mr. Ruth became the managing attorney of the Fargo location.
In 1995 David Marquard established Marquard & Associates, continuing a practice devoted exclusively to accident and injury claims.
Our attorneys are licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
Since 1984 we have represented countless individuals and families in wrongful death, product liability, injury, and insurance claims. Our attorneys have litigated hundreds of claims to a successful conclusion through trial, arbitration, and mediation.
How We are Paid - No Fee Unless We WIN Your Claim
We represent most clients in injury claims on a contingency fee basis. This means you do not owe anything unless we are successful in winning your case. In the event we win your case we take a one third contingency fee, regardless of how much time is involved. Some law firms have a sliding scale with up to 40 - 50% going to the law firm on a contingency fee if the case goes to litigation or trial. We do not change our fee based upon the amount of work required to protect your interests.
